اسكندر iskandar, askandar, Alexander, said to be the son of Dārā, who married Nāhīd, daughter of Fīlqūs (Philippus). On account of her fetid breath, her husband sent her back to her father, who cured her by the use of iskandarūs, Garlic, whence her son's name.
